Presentation Title:

The importance of ease and efficiency of Lock Out Tag Out procedure in Food and Drink Manufacturing industry.

Presentation Synopsis:

Lock Out Tag Out procedure is a crucial safety system that prevents access to dangerous, moving machinery during cleaning, planned and break down maintenance, change of settings, implements etc.

But just how important is it that equipment can be locked out properly and safely with power sources and isolators being easy to identify, convenient to shut off of and quick to lock?

Employees’ view on the idea of LOTO varies depending on the ease and convenience of the system. Consequences of not having readily available LOTO plan could be catastrophic both for the individuals and the businesses. Easy solutions coming from manufacturers could save time, money and lives.
